Beatrice #3 | 3-month-old Lab mix | Your playful little cuddle bug
Beatrice is a 3-month-old Lab mix who is everything you would expect from a puppy: playful, friendly, cuddly, and full of puppy energy! She loves toys, especially plush toys, and is always happy to play fetch or romp around with her canine friends. She is incredibly social and loves spending time with both people and other dogs. She also has a sweet habit of resting her head on you and even likes to sleep right beside you-or sometimes right on your head!
Beatrice is doing really well with her house training and is almost there, although her new family should expect that accidents can happen while she adjusts to a new home. She sleeps well through the night and has done well when left home alone for 3-4 hours with another dog in the house. She may whine or bark a little at first when crated, but she settles down with time. She is still very much a puppy and is working on things like play biting, jumping on people, and learning that not everything is a chew toy. She is food motivated, loves toys and affection, and is responding well to structure and boundaries.
Beatrice has not yet been leash trained because her vaccination status is still being determined, and she hasn't had the opportunity to meet cats or children yet. She has had positive interactions with all of the dogs she has met and absolutely loves playing with her resident canine friend. She does not seem to have a preference for men or women and is equally happy to make friends with everyone.
Beatrice came to us as a stray and is now looking for a family who is ready for all the fun, energy, and learning that comes with a young puppy. Her ideal home will be active and willing to continue working on training, manners, and basic commands. If you're looking for a friendly, playful puppy who loves to cuddle just as much as she loves to play, Beatrice may be your girl!
If you and the dog are a good match then we'll connect you with our dog's foster parents to chat more in-depth. If both you and the foster agree that the dog is a good fit then a meet and greet is scheduled. We require applicants' dogs to meet ours to ensure they get along. We'll ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement and pay the adoption fee to complete the adoption when it comes time. Our adoption fees help cover the costs of saving more lives! A home visit will be scheduled within one week of your new pet going home with you.
The adoption fee for this pet is $475 (includes a $50 refundable puppy training deposit). Our adoption fee covers the following:
Spay/neuter
Microchip
DAPP vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog.
