About This Dog
What WeRescue Scout knows about Monica
Monica needs a home where someone is present most or all of the time, as her severe separation anxiety requires constant companionship and a patient, committed family ready to work with her on building confidence. She's a loving, affectionate girl who thrives with attentive people, does well with other good-natured dogs, and would benefit from kids old enough to handle her playful energy without triggering jumping.
- Severe separation anxiety—requires a stay-at-home or work-from-home household member.
- Cannot use a crate; will bite metal bars.
- Still inconsistent with housetraining; needs consistent scheduling.
- Currently on medications for separation anxiety; medical management ongoing.
- Playful jumping around running children; families with young kids (under 15) may not be ideal.
- Cats unknown—no compatibility data.
WeRescue Scout summarized this from the shelter's original listing and may include estimates. Please contact Mostly Mutts Animal Rescue & Adoption, Inc. to confirm any details before adopting.
