Calvin

Calvin was saved hours before he was set to be euthanized, after spending OVER A YEAR behind bars. He finally got his second chance. Now we are in search of a foster home where he can decompress and learn how to be a dog! He is a little skittish at first, but once he feels safe, he warms up and bows his head to request ear scratches. He LOVES other dogs! He would thrive in a home with a buddy to play with. He's smart, food-motivated, responds well to "no" and walks beautifully on leash. He absolutely LOVES going for walks. Calvin struggles with the crate, so he needs someone willing to properly and gradually introduce crate training. So someone with that flexibility would be ideal! Will you be the person who gives Calvin a soft place to land? Will you give him the time to decompress, the patience to learn, and the love to finally understand what being safe feels like? You could watch this sweet, goofy, incredibly smart boy discover what it means to BE A DOG.
