Mikey is an adorable DSH brown tabby male born approximately 5/5/2025.

Meet Mikey!

Mikey is a gentle, soulful young tabby kitty with a heart as big as his journey. Rescued from life outdoors, he likely had little to no human contact at first. It took patience, love, and several months for Mikey to learn to trust-but once he did, he blossomed into an incredibly sweet and devoted companion.

Now, Mikey is the definition of a quiet best friend. He loves spending time perched
by the window, watching the world go by-birds, people, cars-taking it all in with
curious eyes. When he's not on lookout duty, you'll often find him curled up happily
on your lap, soaking in affection and giving it right back.

Playtime is another of Mikey's favorite things! He enjoys batting around catnip toys
and zooming through his kitty tunnel with bursts of playful energy. And one of his
most charming quirks? His adorable, human-like stretch-both back legs stretched
straight out behind him-it's guaranteed to make you smile every time.

Mikey did test positive for the feline leukemia virus (FeLV). This does not mean he has leukemia, but that he carries a virus that could suppress his immune system. We recently had additional testing done and the results show that his FeLV infection is actually a regressive type. This means he's less likely to be infectious to other cats or to be sick. This is excellent news!
