Jax~

Meet Jax: 12-14 pounds of Chihuahua and 75 pounds of opinions.Jax is very loved by his foster mom, but he deserves a forever home of his own.Jax isn't looking to be carried around or cuddled 24/7. In fact, most things get on his nerves. He prefers naps, his own bed, sunshine, and seeking out his person for cuddles when HE decides it's time.He currently lives with other dogs and can coexist, but he'd much rather be an only dog because he has appointed himself the Fun Police and feels everyone needs to follow his rules.Under that tough little shell, Jax is a total love bug with his person. He just needs someone who understands and respects his boundaries.Quiet adult homePreferably only dogNo childrenFenced yard required - because good luck convincing this man to put on a harness and leash.Naps, sunshine & occasional cuddles requiredNot every dog wants to be everyone's best friend-and that's okay. They still deserve someone who loves them exactly as they are. Meet Jax Healing… and getting ready for his forever home. Jax is currently recovering from ACL surgery and doing so well. He's been on crate rest for several weeks and has handled it like a champ - calm, patient, and just going with the flow. And honestly? That says a lot about who he is. What we love about Jax: Super chill, even in the middle of chaos Easygoing and adaptable Has done great during recovery Calm, steady presenceJax has a couple more weeks before he'll be ready to officially go home, but we'd love to find his forever family now so he has something to look forward to when he's fully healed. He's the kind of dog who doesn't make life harder - he just quietly fits in and becomes part of your world. If you're looking for a laid-back companion who will be by your side through it all, Jax might be your guy.
