Daine - Sweet and Smart

Meet Daine - Smart, Sweet, and Already Showing What a Good Boy He Can Be! ❤️

Daine and his littermates are currently with our partner rescue in Mississippie and awaiting a foster or adopter to bring them to NJ to find their furever family!

Meet Daine, a handsome Labrador Retriever/Treeing Walker Coonhound mix with a heart of gold and a brain that's always ready to learn! With his beautiful reddish coat and adorable black muzzle, he's quite the looker, but it's his gentle personality and eagerness to please that really make him special.

Daine is a smart boy who is already showing off some pretty impressive manners! He's food motivated, which makes training a fun and rewarding experience. He knows how to sit, patiently waits for his signal before eating, and has learned that keeping all four paws on the ground is the way to say hello. He's gentle, affectionate, even-tempered, and enjoys making friends with both people and other dogs.

At approximately 20-25 pounds right now, Daine is still growing and is expected to reach around 60 pounds when fully grown. He has a moderate energy level and would enjoy a family who can provide regular exercise, playtime, continued training, and plenty of opportunities to use that clever mind of his. He's not completely housetrained yet, so he'll need a little patience and consistency as he settles into his new home.

Daine is friendly with adults, good with children, and gets along with other dogs. His compatibility with cats is currently unknown. A home with a yard would be ideal for him to enjoy some outdoor fun.

The best part? Daine doesn't need an experienced dog owner to help him shine. He's eager to please and already has a wonderful foundation of manners to build upon.

If you're looking for a gentle, intelligent, well-mannered sweetheart who is ready to learn and love, Daine is waiting to meet you! ❤️

Daine is up to date on vaccines and tested negative for heartworm. Daine has been neutered and has a microchip. His adoption fee is $600.

Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption. After all these dogs have been through, they deserve a loving, committed home.
