Bert

Looking for a gentle companion who makes friends wherever he goes? Say hello to Bert! Bert is a sweet, tender-hearted young 2 year old, 43lb Lab pup whose signature greeting is gently rolling over to show you his belly. He has a wonderfully gentle, submissive nature and doesn't have an aggressive bone in his body. Whether it's four-legged foster siblings or feline friends, Bert gets along beautifully with everyone he meets. He loves cuddling more than anything in the world. Bert loves being near his humans, but he strikes the perfect balance. If you work from home, he makes the ultimate quiet coworker, happily snoozing at your feet and keeping you company throughout the day, and whenever you want to relax in the evening, he will gently come snuggle with you on the couch right next to you. Bert is potty trained and a joy on a leash, making neighborhood strolls smooth and easy. While he hasn't mastered crate training yet, he is eager to please and thrives with positive reinforcement. At just two years old, he has the perfect mix of youthful curiosity and gentle chill. He's ready to continue his basic training with a loving family who will appreciate his quiet affection and endless belly rubs. If you're looking for a loyal best friend to warm your heart (and your couch), Bert is ready to meet you!Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis.
