Meet Laz!

Laz is a big, goofy teenage dog with an infectious zest for life! He loves learning, thrives during training sessions, and is always excited to work with his people. He is currently learning cues like sit, down, and relax on a mat, and you can tell he genuinely enjoys using his brain. Whether he's practicing new skills or making you laugh with his silly personality, Laz has a way of bringing joy to everyone around him.

Laz also loves being with his people. Once he gets to know you, he is incredibly affectionate and wants nothing more than to stay close-leaning against you, hanging out by your side, or following you around with his goofy grin.

When meeting new people, Laz can be a little unsure at first, but it honestly only takes a few minutes before his whole personality shines through and he decides you're his new best friend. Even when he's feeling a little nervous, he continues to seek connection, which says so much about his sweet and social nature.

Laz enjoys meeting other dogs and seems to gain confidence from those interactions. Like many adolescent dogs, he is still learning about the world, and because we don't know much about his past, there is still plenty for him to discover. He is the type of dog who will thrive with patience, consistency, continued training, and lots of love.

There is something incredibly special about Laz. He is funny, affectionate, eager to learn, and full of potential. We have no doubt that once he settles into a home, his confidence will continue to grow and his wonderful personality will shine even brighter.
