Coordinator-Jeanine Daugherty

Kya is a Malinois mix who was horribly attacked as a puppy. she still has scars, but is physically, completely healed. Unfortunately, the attack left her untrusting of most other dogs. She could live in a home with a more passive male dog.

Kya is slow to warm up to new people, but once you have gained her trust she will play ball with you all day long and then settle in and cuddle.

Kya is spayed, fully vaccinated and on heart worm and flea and tick preventative. She is crate and house trained. She was a Valentine's day baby in 2022 (DOB 2/14/22). Kya likes to go for rides in the car.

Kya is located in Ohio.

American Belgian Malinois Rescue, Inc

Rescue

The mission of the American Belgian Malinois, Inc (ABMR, Inc) is to act on behalf of homeless or unwanted purebred Belgian Malinois dogs. ABMR, Inc fulfills its mission of service by securing qualified assessment, care, fostering, medical treatment, rehabilitation, and permanent loving homes for Belgian Malinois dogs and puppies that are surrendered, impounded, neglected, abused, or discarded. This breed is often surrendered to shelters due to their high energy levels and are becoming popular with backyard breeders due to their large litters. Our dogs are required to be spayed or neutered before available for adoption.
