Description

Bodie is approximately 2 years old and was originally found on the streets of Milwaukee.
He was fostered and adopted but now needs to be re-homed.
Bodie is the life of the party! He loves to entertain without even knowing he's doing it.
Bodie has been around other dogs, children, teenagers, but not sure about cats.
He loves to sleep in bed with you - legs up in the air!
Bodie would benefit and perhaps even excel in a consistent routine: crate training, walking or maybe a jogging partner, he might even take to some sport of agility or sporting event for dogs.
He does have some anxiety - not in the form of destruction, but in the form of pacing/circling.
A new environment could change that!
He is absolutely sweet but too much for the older lab in the home.
Bodie is up to date on all his vaccinations: Rabies, DHPP, Bordatella, is neutered, microchipped and heartworm tested negative.
Bodie is located in Mequon, WI.
Meet and greet appointments can be done after an approved adoption application has been completed.
*All our dogs are in private foster homes; we do not have a facility. We only adopt out to applicants within 100 miles of our zip code 53046.

  • Adoption Process:

Adopters must have a complete and approved application in order to meet a dog in foster. After the application is approved the adoption coordinator/foster will reach out and call/email the applicant to answer/ask questions. Based on the review the foster and applicant will either set up a home visit or request a video of the applicants home prior to bringing the dog for a meet. Oftentimes the home visit and meet can be done at the same time - it all depends on location etc. *We do not operate on first come first serve - dogs are the priority. Decisions are made on the best fit for the dog.
  • Mission Statement:

Our mission is to protect and improve the lives of the homeless, and neglected small dogs in Southeastern WI, and to place them in permanent, loving homes.
