Description
Poppy is an energetic 11 month old Blue Tick Hound, Australian Shepherd mix. She came from a ranch in Montana, and is ready for a home with plenty of space to explore. Poppy is affectionate, playful, and always up for an adventure. She’ll do best in a home with working breed experience and a strong commitment to training. Her energy level and drive for activity do require the right fit, but if you’re a go go go type of person, she’s your girl. She currently lives with another adult dog and several cats. While she does get along with other dogs, she’s big on roughhousing, so she would do best with a larger breed. She does have experience with cats but often plays too rough for her feline friends, so she would do best in a home without small animals or young children. Poppy has had extensive training but still needs some work with her potty training. If you’re an outdoor person looking for a tracking dog, an avid hiker, or someone who loves to spend ample playtime with a fun loving dog, she might be a great fit for you!
