Description
Meet Snap! This one year old chihuahua mix is 14lbs of golden joy. He's playful and enjoys playing with toys, but also loves a snuggle. He's taken his move in stride and is more than ready for a forever home!
His foster says:
"Snap is, in a word, perfect. He is completely house-broken, exceedingly loving, and the happiest-go-lucky boy. He LOVES going on walks, doing respectful zoomies around the apartment, and romping around with any toy you give him (he waits to be “given” a toy, even if there are tons lying around—it’s very sweet.)
He loves dogs and people equally, playing beautifully with every pup and person he’s met. Intermittently, Snap will let out a prolonged yowl of joy; wagging his tail and giving kisses. At just 14 pounds, this sweet boy is just ideal for someone who is a big-dog lover with small-dog capacities (like a New York City apartment)—he has the personality of a friendly labrador who is equally happy snuggling on the couch as he is on a hike.
Snap has not been tested with cats or children, but we would not be surprised if he was great with both. One thing that Snap’s adopter will have to work with him on is some leash manners (but he is never ever aggressive). It seems to mostly be frustration at not being able to go up to them and say hi, since he is nothing but excited once he gets to. We know this boy will be an iconic best friend to a very lucky person or family!!"
