Description

Meet Brindie! This one year old 23lb little lady often gets mistaken for a puppy with her adorable good looks. She's a sweet and gentle dog and gets along great with other dogs. She can't wait to unwind and relax in her forever home.

Her foster (who calls her Chloe) says:

"Chloe is a 1-year-old, 23-pound Chihuahua mix who made her way from Texas to Brooklyn. With her beautiful brindle coat and gentle personality, she’s quickly winning hearts everywhere she goes.

This calm, affectionate girl loves long walks, dog park visits, and cuddling with her humans. She’s house-trained, walks beautifully on a leash, and isn’t bothered at all by the loud noises and fast pace of the city.

At home, Chloe is polite and easygoing. She enjoys relaxing on her bed, the couch, or in a warm patch of sunshine. She currently lives with a 9-year-old boy and loves resting her head on his lap during TV time. Surrounded by toys, Chloe knows which ones are hers and leaves the others alone—she’s very respectful.

Chloe absolutely loves other dogs and seems comfortable around cats too. While she hasn’t lived with another dog full-time, she’s eager to greet every pup she meets and shows no signs of aggression, even with the grumpiest dogs. She would likely thrive with a calm and friendly canine companion.
She would do best in a home with older children (7+) who are kind and gentle. Since she hasn’t been introduced to toddlers, a quieter home is recommended to keep her feeling safe and relaxed.

Chloe is looking for a home with a low to medium energy level—somewhere she can enjoy her walks and playtime, then curl up for cozy naps with her forever family."
