Description
Heidi is an honorary member of the Texas 6 litter! She is around the same age, but was a stray in a completely different part of Texas where many many dogs are dumped, hit by cars, attacked. She is so amazing. She loves everyone. Heidi is a little sad about her friend, Primrose, getting adopted. Heidi is ready for a home of her own, too! She's GREAT with other dogs. Currently living with several others. She’s getting exposure to cats in her foster home but verdict is still out. Her energy typically matches the energy of dogs around her. She can definitely chill out though! Heidi is fostered near Jefferson City.

Journey Home GSD Rescue is a small, foster-based rescue in Central Missouri run by a small group of very devoted, unpaid volunteers who love the German Shepherd Dog. Our goal is to assist in the rescue and rehoming of abused, neglected, unwanted or abandoned German Shepherds. Journey Home GSD Rescue was founded in August 2015, and although we are based in Central Missouri, we are willing to rescue dogs across the state as well as out of state. We are dedicated to saving as many German Shepherd Dogs as possible.
