Meet Cash – Your Future Best Friend!

Wow! Cash is truly an amazing companion. From his natural ears to those adorable toes, he’s got all the charm of a Doberman – though his exact breed mix is a mystery, his personality is 100% lovable.

Cash gets along well with medium to large dogs. His current foster home includes two friendly labs and a couple of small breed mixes. He sometimes plays a bit rough with the littles (those big paws and enthusiastic mouth!), so a home with similar-sized doggy siblings would be ideal. His behavior around cats is unknown, but due to his playful nature, we recommend a cat-free home for now.

He LOVES playing fetch, especially with a softball-sized tennis ball – it’s his favorite game!

When playtime’s over, Cash turns into the ultimate cuddle buddy. He melts into you during petting sessions and enjoys his massages. He’s great about having his collar put on and taken off, too.

On walks, Cash does pull, but a well-fitted harness makes a big difference. He can be leash reactive, not out of aggression, but because he’s so eager to meet people/dogs and play. With patience and consistency, this behavior can be managed – he’s still learning!

An ideal forever home for Cash would include a fenced-in yard for safe play, or a country setting with on-leash adventures. He’s crate-trained and should continue using it until he’s proven trustworthy with free roam.

Cash is also potty trained and uses a dog door to go out into his fenced yard. With the right guidance, his outdoor reactivity can shift from excitement to simply watching the "outdoor TV."

Cash is available for adoption through Ma Paws & Me Pet Rescue based out of Watertown, WI. He is neutered, microchipped, dewormed, up to date on all age appropriate vaccines, and current on monthly flea/tick and heartworm prevention.

All Ma, Paws & Me Pet Rescue dogs are in homes with foster families; we do not have a shelter where dogs are available for daily viewing.

Our process is as follows:
1. Review our policies and adoption radius on our website: http://mapawsmepetrescue.com/adopt/<br>2. Submit an application for review and approval;
3. MPM Rescue reviews application and checks vet records and references;
4. MPM foster contacts approved applicant(s) to arrange a home check and meeting with available dog(s);
5. If there is a good fit, adoption is completed with a contract and fees (payable via check or cash).

- Spay/Neuter surgery
- Age appropriate vaccinations
- Heartworm test (for dogs over 6mo) and treatment if positive
- Microchip
- Deworming
- Heartworm and Flea/Tick Preventative
- Any other necessary medical treatment as recommended by veterinarian
