MY STORY: Luke is one pretty boy. He is still a bit shy, but so sweet. He will need an adopter that wants to give him all their love because he has a lot to give. I can't wait to meet his forever family. He will bring such joy to them. I just love this boy.
Foster Update: Luke continues to do well. He is opening up to us little by little every day. I had several girlfriends over for dinner on Thursday. I left the door to his crate open in case he needed some down time, but he surprised us all and hung out for treats and snuggles all night. He is doing great with walking on the leash, we walk a lot and he is usually wiped out when we get home.He is still very shy but also very curious which is going a long way in his learning about life at our place. He is doing great with going potty outside and keeps his crate clean at night.. We are loving having him here!
Luke has discovered the joys of a comfy couch. It’s his go to now unless he is following us around. He likes to peek at what I am doing when I am on the computer. If I am not giving him attention he likes to boop me with his nose... It’s the funniest thing. At first I thought I was imagining it, but it’s a thing!

Breeder releases need extra time and patience and will do best with a mentor dog in the home. Please read the resources on our page regarding this before applying

To adopt the FIRST STEP is to complete an APPLICATION.
Adopters must be 24 years of age. We can not adopt to families with children under the age of six. We also only adopt in WI, IL, and parts of MN. Most of our dogs are strays, so the breed is our best guess.
