MY STORY: Chelsea is a 5 year old Shih Tzu/poodle mix who is extra cute!
Get ready to fall head over heels for Chelsea, a truly delightful 14-pound dog with an overflowing heart! This little blonde beauty is the definition of a "people dog" – she's friendly, happy, and loves to snuggle more than anything. Her affectionate nature and charming personality will undoubtedly melt your heart.
Chelsea isn't just incredibly sweet; she's also a dream to live with! She's perfectly housebroken and a joy to walk, already mastering leash manners beautifully. When it's playtime, she absolutely adores her plush, squeaky toys. Chelsea eats well, sleeps soundly, and is remarkably non-destructive – though she might just "borrow" a stray sock or slipper to add to her dog bed collection for a little extra comfort!
This amazing girl has made incredible progress in her foster home, now completely comfortable with household routines and sounds. She's great with guests and would be happy sharing her home with another dog, but would also thrive as your one and only. While she's adjusted beautifully, a fenced yard would still be ideal for her to safely explore and enjoy the outdoors.

To adopt the FIRST STEP is to complete an APPLICATION.
Adopters must be 24 years of age. We can not adopt to families with children under the age of six. We also only adopt in WI, IL, and parts of MN. Most of our dogs are strays, so the breed is our best guess.
