1. What is your name?
Milkshake!
2. How old are you?
I am almost 3-years-old!.
3. What do you look like?
I am small! I am only about 30 pounds.
I have a little nub instead of a full tail.
4. What do you like to eat?
Absolutely anything food!
Unless you’re trying to trick me to eat a pill- I hate pills.
5. What kind of personality do you have?
I’m equal parts goofy and snuggly! Pretty easy going overall, but I can get excited at times.
6. Describe your perfect day
A nice walk in the am, a little play time in the yard or house, and then a looooong nap on the couch.
7. What is your favorite toy?
I love ALL my toys, especially my soft toys- Lambie being my favorite.
8. Do you know any tricks?
I know the basics- sit, down, stay.
9. What scares you?
Not much scares me. Although, I hate car rides & get car sick. I can’t eat before I go in the car, but I am getting better about car rides.
10. Do you like cats and dogs?
Nope. I need a house where I can be the only animal.
11. If you could be anywhere in the world, where would it be?
The couch is a great spot, or following you around the kitchen.
12. How is your health?
I’m healthy!
13. How long have you lived in your foster home?
I’ve been in an Even Chance foster home since February of 2023. I have been with my current foster parent since October 2023.
14. Who do you live with in your foster home and who is your closest companion?
I live with my foster parent, Ferris, and their roommate, Bryan!
15. Where do you hang out when you are home alone?
My crate. I am crate trained.
16. Where do you sleep?
I sleep in my crate, my foster human’s bed, or my dog bed.
17. What do you love about your foster family?
I love that my foster family is so dedicated to meeting all my needs. I am grateful that Even Chance rescued me!
18. What was life like before you were rescued by Even Chance?
I was taken by a government agency as part of a dog fighting investigation.

Adoption Process:
How to Adopt Even Chance has successfully placed many deserving pit bulls and pit bull mixes into wonderful homes. To apply for an Even Chance dog please follow these steps: 1. Please [email protected]-for an adoption application form. 2. Our adoptions coordinator will contact you once we have received your application. 3. Complete a home evaluation with an Even Chance representative, this will include an introduction of your family and pets to the potential new member 4. Our Mission Even chance strives to counteract misinformation about pit bulls with factual education, communication, and resources for the general public as well as the pit bull community. We rescue temperamentally sound dogs from shelters, including dogs with medical needs and dogs rescued from organized fighting rings or other inhumane situations. We provide foster care for our rescued dogs until they are placed in forever homes. Even Chance Pit Bull Advocacy + Resources + Rescue is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization. The Even Chance federal tax ID number is 47-1600306. Advocacy Even Chance restores a positive public image of pit bulls by: Educating families about responsible pit bull ownership; Supporting bite-prevention education; Conducting school and community events; Promoting positive media outreach; Working to eliminate BSL legislation; Partnering with dog training programs; Supporting pit bull owners who train breed ambassadors. Resources Even Chance recommends trainers, homeowners insurance, pit bull friendly housing, daycare & boarding options, food and nutrition advice, toys and exercise equipment, veterinarians, and educational materials to pit bull owners. Through donations, we provide financial aid for training, spay/neuter, vaccine, and microchip procedures. Rescue To help alleviate the stress of overcrowding in shelters we rescue and place pit bulls (and pit mixes) into foster homes while the dogs await adoption. We include dogs suffering from injuries, illness and kennel stress, as well as dogs rescued from inhumane situations. All dogs are temperament tested and examined by a veterinarian before they enter our adoption program.
