Note from Lucy's foster mom -
Lucy is outgoing & is the boss over her sister Reese.
Reese may be bigger than Lucy, but dynamite does come in small packages !
Lucy plays well alone, but she does love playing with her sister, my other dogs, & our barn cats.
After her energy is used up, she loves to cuddle up & watch TV. Literally, she watches TV.
Lucy is very intelligent & learns quickly.
We are working on walking on a harness . She does an AMAZING job for her age & number of times that I have let her run without me holding her leash. Lucy will either stay beside me or comes on command.
Currently, we are working on a kenneling schedule , along with potty training,
Come, Sit & Leave It commands.
Lucy goes directly into her kennel when told to KENNEL. She sleeps from 10 pm - 6 am. Without even a whimper from her, as long as I have the diffuser with lavender turned on.
She also kennels for 2 hours in the morning & 2 hours in the afternoon. I add 15 minutes each day to her morning & and afternoon, kenneling time to work towards 4 hours at one time so her Furever family could leave her up to 4 hours at a time.
Lucy would make an excellent companion for a single person or a great addition to a family with or without other pets.
Whoever is the prize winner & becomes Lucy's Furever home, I will send her diffuser & lavender, along with her collar, harness, sweater , green crinkle duck she loves.
One other thing, Lucy is already retrieving balls. She is working on catching it in her mouth & and running it back to me. I'm still working on the Release part, but she is improving daily. Lucy is an excellent retriever. I throw, and she runs & gets it.
Brings it straight back to me. She is soft mouth. As soon as I put my fingers on the ball, she releases. No trying to hold it, pull it away or won't go anywhere except straight to me , even if she has to run around all the other dogs like a quarter back running for field goal.
