MY STORY: Reese’s is a gentle little lady with a big heart who's just beginning to discover the joys of being a beloved companion. Recently released from a breeder, she's currently in a loving foster home where she's learning all about life as a family dog—soft beds, green grass, and the magic of peanut butter!
Reese’s is slowly but surely blossoming. She's not quite sure about leash walking yet, but her foster family is working on it daily. She finds comfort in following her canine foster siblings, so she'll absolutely need a confident, calm mentor dog in her forever home to help guide her. A securely fenced yard is a must, as she still needs encouragement to go outside and isn’t leash-walkable yet.
She is potty trained with supervision and is learning to communicate her needs—an attentive adopter will help her continue to succeed. Reese’s is cat-friendly, not food-motivated (yet!), but she has discovered she loves peanut butter. She’s learning to take treats, enjoys exploring the house and yard, and is starting to show signs of curiosity and courage.
Loud noises like motorcycles and fireworks are scary for her, so a quiet, predictable home will help her feel safe. With patience, love, and time, Reese’s will continue to grow into the wonderful companion she was always meant to be.

Reese's will need a home with a physically fenced yard to keep her safe and another dog to mentor and show her the ropes!

To adopt the FIRST STEP is to complete an APPLICATION.
Adopters must be 24 years of age. We can not adopt to families with children under the age of six. We also only adopt in WI, IL, and parts of MN. Most of our dogs are strays, so the breed is our best guess.
