Scout is a 7-month-old male American Bulldog / German Shepherd / Husky mix with a big
personality, a loving heart, and so much potential. He's highly social and truly enjoys being
around people, other dogs, and his favorite toys. Scout thrives when he's engaged, playing, and
included in daily life. He wants to be part of the action and close to his people.
Smart, sensitive, and eager to learn, Scout will shine with an experienced and confident adopter
who understands adolescent dogs and enjoys helping them grow through training and
guidance. He is still learning how to navigate high-stress situations and can show some
resource-guarding behaviors, particularly in environments like the vet. With structure,
consistency, and positive reinforcement, these behaviors are very workable and continue to
improve.
Scout will do best in a home that can offer clear boundaries, routine, and continued training. In
the right environment, he has all the ingredients to become a deeply loyal, affectionate, and
well-balanced companion
He is house trained, crate trained, and knows his basic commands.
