Meet Marlee!

Marlee is a 2.5-year-old, 40 lb, spayed female with the sweetest personality. She is crate trained, housebroken, and knows basic commands. She is a wonderful companion who loves curling up on the couch for naps, playing with her toys, going on sniff walks, and spending time with her people. Marlee may snack on whatever may be lying around (socks, paper towels, etc.). The best adopter for her will set her up for success by managing her environment and provide gentle guidance.

Marlee is a polite, well-mannered girl who settles beautifully in the home and respects household routines. She is also a great car rider and is always excited for a pup cup!

Marlee would thrive in a home where she has space to feel comfortable and confident, such as a quieter neighborhood or a home with a fenced yard. She needs slow, thoughtful introductions with other dogs. She has previously lived with another dog of similar size and enjoyed playing with them, but she can get overwhelmed during close encounters with unfamiliar dogs on leash. Having a calmer walking environment where she can have her own space would help her be her best self.
Marlee would do best in a home without cats or other small animals.
