Star is a small, active, girl filled with so much love. She's easy to train and is learning (or re-learning) sit, spin, paw, crate, and waiting to do stuff on command (e.g., eating and stepping out of the door). She's potty trained and sleeps well throughout the night (8-10 hours).

Right now, Star does best with four 15-40 min walks a day. She pulls a little on the leash, but has learned to redirect and heel before continuing on her walk!

During the day, she's comfortable being left alone in the home and will usually hang around in a comfortable spot. She loves having a toy to nibble on and ball to go after! While she's not great at bringing the ball back, she has the cutest zoomies while chasing after it.

She loves humans and will always be excited to say hi to them. She's learning how not to jump or follow after them while on walks. In the home, she will follow you wherever you go. She likes being near or right on top of you sometimes while she gets her pets. She also tends to fight sleep a little by asking for attention-at times a little intensely. While she will usually settle after a while, sometimes it takes her a bit.

Star also gets extremely excited around other dogs. She will want to say hi during walks, and sometimes gets a little too overwhelmed with them passing by. While she's not aggressive, she's not great at understanding other dog's social cues and respecting their boundaries, so redirection currently works best for her, and on-leash introductions are recommended.

We haven't seen Star with cats yet, so we're unsure how she would react.

She's a pretty easy dog to have and truly so cute and loveable. She would do great with someone who's patient and that enjoys exercising our active girl.
