Girlie has been through quite the transition recently! She originally came to us from a home with a large number of dogs where she missed out on some socialization opportunities when she was younger. Girlie can be a bit overwhelmed in new environments, but she finds comfort and encouragement with people - she is such a cuddle bug! Girlie might like a home where she can be spoiled rotten as the only dog, or she might like another calm dog that wouldn't mind casually coexisting in the home together. Playful, boisterous dogs would likely be too much for this tender hearted lady. If you do have another dog, be sure to bring them along! We are requiring a doggie meet and greet here at the shelter to help ensure it's a good fit. She is also required to go to a home either without children or with children over the age of 10.

Girlie can be met with until 4:30pm so our Training & Behavior team can provide adoption counseling.
