Bernie is a charming boy looking for a new home! We are floored by this dog's resilience - a trait any dog adopter is sure to cherish. He is a staff favorite for a reason, so give this guy a chance and you'll fall in love just like we have! Bernie has tons of pep in his step and loves to chase the ball or go for sniffy walks - and he's just as silly and sweet as his name suggests! He is as happy to curl up in his bed with a bone, or take a nap by your feet. Bernie may do well with a like-mannered pup so to help make sure it's the right match, we are requiring a doggie meet-and-greet here at the shelter before adoption. At this time, HSBV is recommending him for a family with children 6 years of age or older.
