Meet Nena, affectionately known as Baby Girl! 🐾💛

Nena's story is one of resilience, second chances, and the kindness of strangers. This sweet puppy was found wandering alone through a park, where she befriended a group of kind girls and followed them home. Later that day, she came running into the yard of her future foster family-wet, dirty, covered in fleas and sticker burrs, and clearly in need of help.

After a warm bath, a full belly, and some much-needed love, Nena's true personality quickly began to shine. It was later discovered that she was already spayed and microchipped, and after some investigating, her foster family learned that she had been abandoned. Their loss is certainly someone else's gain, because Nena is an absolutely wonderful dog.

Still very much a puppy, Nena is full of life, curiosity, and joy. She loves racing around the backyard, playing with all of her toys, and happily chewing on her favorite bones. Her playful spirit and happy energy are contagious, and she brings smiles wherever she goes.

Nena is also a smart girl who is making excellent progress with her training. She's doing wonderfully with potty training and is learning that her crate is a safe and comfortable place. She sleeps peacefully in her crate at night and stays there comfortably while her foster family is away from home.

Most of all, Nena is incredibly loving. She has a sweet personality and a heart full of affection just waiting to share with her forever family. With continued guidance, consistency, and love, this amazing girl is going to grow into an incredible lifelong companion.

Nena has already overcome being abandoned and has proven that she is resilient, forgiving, and full of love. Now she's ready for the happy ending she deserves-a family of her very own.
