~ I can live in a single family home or condo, apartment considered.
~ I have not had much experience with children but am willing to consider sharing my home with kids who can be gentle and respectful of pets.
~ I have not had much experience with other pets and am willing to consider sharing my home with them with slow and thoughtful introductions.
~ I am a high energy kind of dog and am looking for a home where I can get lots of exercise every day.
~ I may be a great dog for the first time dog owner.
~ I am still learning and want to get off to a great start in my new home, so I will need to continue my training. (Obedience Training Required)
Meet Ginny!
Ginny is a 6 month old, spayed female, Labrador Retriever mix weighing 35 pounds and still growing! She has a beautiful black coat with a few white spots on her chest. Ginny came to CHS from another shelter after she and her sister, Gwen, were found as strays. She is a friendly, affectionate pup who loves attention, belly rubs, and especially playing in the pool-once she's in the water, she never wants to get out! This happy, high-energy girl is looking for an active home where she can get plenty of daily exercise and continue her training through obedience classes. Ginny may be a great fit for a first time dog owner and can live in a single family home, condo, or possibly an apartment. While she hasn't had much experience with children, cats, or other dogs besides Gwen, she may be willing to share her home with gentle, respectful kids and furry friends. If you're looking for a fun-loving companion ready for adventure, Ginny could be the perfect addition to your family!
