</p> <p> Best Guess for Age: 3 years as of January 2026 SEX: Female</p> <p> </p> <p> Approximate Weight: 31 lbs</p> <p> </p> <p> Gets Along With: While Lil Bit has lived with dogs and done well with some other dogs, she is dog selective and would do best as an only dog in the home. Lil Bit should not go to a home with kids. We haven't seen her with cats but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!

This sweetie has all that awesome young-dog energy and is eager for sniffy trotting walks and all the adventures her new humans can dream up. And quality kibble and a cushy dog bed. And she'd like to make pup pals along the way too! But you know what she wants most of all? To know where she belongs, to spend time with her favorite people, and to be safe and loved.

Can you see her trotting by your side? </p> <p> What My Foster Says About Me: </p> <p>Lil Bit is a short and boxy sweetheart who has the kind of personality that instantly fills up a room. Within a short time afer her arrival, she settled in like she's always belonged here - confident, happy, and ready to be everyone's new best friend.</p> <p>Lil Bit is full of life and fun. She loves to run, jump, and play, and she's been having the absolute best time with our resident dog who's a similar size and mix. The two of them play like lifelong buddies, and she would thrive in a home with a dog her size or bigger who can match her playful energy. But don't let her zoomies fool you - Lil Bit is also the ultimate cuddle bug. When she's done playing, she will melt right into you, climb into your lap, roll over for belly rubs, and cover you in kisses. She's pure love in a tiny, sturdy package.</p> <p>She's also been wonderful in the house. She sleeps through the night in her crate (with the cutest snores), has done very well with housetraining, and will dramatically body slam the door to let you know she needs to go out. She knows some basic commands, walks beautifully on a leash, and truly doesn't believe in strangers - every person she meets is instantly her favorite person.</p> <p>Lil Bit can be a little jumpy when she's excited, so she'll do best with a family who understands her happy, affectionate energy and can help her continue working on manners.</p> <p>Lil Bit is one of those dogs who is just special - joyful, playful, endlessly loving, and impossible not to adore.
