About This Dog
What WeRescue Scout knows about Annie
Annie thrives with active people who can give her lots of playtime, training, and socialization during her critical early months—she'll reward you with smarts and affection. A home where someone can be around frequently to manage her potty breaks and help her burn off puppy energy will help her grow into the social, well-trained dog she's ready to become.
- Requires multiple potty breaks and exercise throughout the day; adopters with standard 9-to-5 jobs must arrange midday care
- Not yet fully vaccinated; adopters must complete remaining puppy vaccines and manage elevated illness risk
- Needs house training and obedience classes to develop into a well-socialized adult dog
WeRescue Scout summarized this from the shelter's original listing and may include estimates. Please contact Lucky Dog Animal Rescue to confirm any details before adopting.

About Annie
Lucky Dog Animal Rescue
Foster BasedSince our founding in May 2009, Lucky Dog has rescued more than 34,500 at-risk dogs and cats. We partner with overcrowded and under-resourced shelters to ensure all adoptable animals have a chance at a loving forever home. Our foster-based adoption program is located in the DC metro area. Our foster animals come to adoption events on the weekends where they can meet prospective adopters, but can also meet with prospective adopters outside of events. Our volunteer adoption counsellors help adopters navigate the adoption process and can make suggestions if needed!
Lucky Dog's South Carolina Rescue Campus is located in Florence County and serves as a transport hub where animals receive the veterinary care they need prior to moving into our adoption program. We also provide low cost spay/neuter for our community as well as free vaccine and microchip clinics. Our Rescue Campus opened a dedicated cat building in June 2026 called "Cat Crossing" to compliment "Stopover Station" where our dogs reside while they wait for transport. We also have a Ringworm Treatment Center, ICU, and vet clinic.
