Goldie is a very shy girl who's looking for a calm, patient home where she can settle in at her own pace. New environments and people can feel overwhelming for her, so she'll need a family willing to give her the time, space, and understanding she needs to feel safe and comfortable.

At this time, Goldie does not enjoy being touched or heavily interacted with, and meeting new people face-to-face can be very stressful for her. Because of this, we are unable to offer traditional meet-and-greets, as they tend to increase her anxiety. Instead, her adoption process would be more of a "come in and adopt" situation with an adopter who understands her needs and is committed to giving her the time she deserves to decompress and adjust.

While Goldie may be reserved at first, the staff believe that with patience and gentle encouragement, she has the potential to blossom and learn to enjoy attention and companionship. Her future family should celebrate the small victories and allow trust to build naturally.

Goldie would do best in a quiet home with people who understand that love from a shy pet is earned slowly - but once that bond forms, it can be incredibly rewarding.
