Meet Lucky, a charming 9-month-old female 40lb German Shepherd mix, who is looking for her forever home! This adorable girl with soft floppy ears has overcome adversity, including being abandoned and battling health issues but in just 4 weeks with us, Lucky has gained 20 lbs and blossomed into a playful, affectionate puppy full of life! Though she hasn't been around cats or children yet, she's a hit with the foster's Australian cattle dog, showing off her playful side. Smart, trainable, and motivated by food, Lucky is on her way to becoming an excellent companion. She's mastered potty and crate training and is learning basic commands. She's still perfecting her house training and benefits from supervision outside her crate. Despite some separation anxiety, Lucky is comfortable in her crate and is non-destructive, though she loves to chew. Although she may bark at strangers and other dogs while in the yard, this behavior has significantly improved with consistent training. Indoors, she's the perfect quiet cuddler, always seeking pets and ready to shower you with licks. This sweet, active pup is waiting to bring joy and companionship to her new family.
