Nixie

Nixie and Hela are two adorable sisters who were found as strays. They did not have any socialization in the first few months of their lives. They have made a lot of progress since coming into foster but will need additional time to learn to trust people. They are energetic, playful kittens, and are comfortable being out in the open with other pets and people. They are still quite a bit fearful of people when they get too close. If you are approaching them with treats or sliced turkey, they will eat out of your hand, so we think continuing this will help in their progress. They absolutely love other cats and are ok with dogs who are familiar with cats. Their adopter will need to be very patient, have experience with or are willing to take in two "scaredy cats" and will allow them time and space to come out of their shells. They would do best in a quiet environment where they can take their time getting to know their new surroundings.

Their long hair tends to mat easily, so they will need to be brushed regularly (Nixie loves it!).
