Laci is a Bichon Frise, estimated to have been born around 6/25/20. She hasn't had much experience living inside a home or being treated as someone's cherished companion, which means many of the little things most dogs know by heart are still new discoveries for her. The sounds of a home, routines, everyday comforts, and simply learning what it feels like to belong are all chapters she is still writing for the very first time. And somehow, despite not always knowing the world around her, Laci has a beautiful way of learning to trust. Once she feels safe, she doesn't just bond - she chooses her person with her whole heart. Before long, you'll look down and notice a tiny shadow quietly following behind you from room to room, simply wanting to be near the person who finally feels like home. As her confidence grows, little pieces of her personality continue to bloom. Laci enjoys the company of other dogs and gets along well with cats too. She would likely thrive with another confident dog who could gently show her the ropes and remind her that the world isn't such a scary place after all. She has a naturally curious spirit and seems to approach life with quiet wonder, finding joy in little victories. Recently, she mastered stairs, and for a dog learning the world one small step at a time, that felt like a pretty big accomplishment. She also loves walks and does wonderfully on a leash. Laci is potty-pad trained and is continuing to learn outdoor potty routines as she settles into home life. Every day brings something new - another lesson, another little piece of confidence, another moment where she realizes life can be soft and safe. Laci doesn't need perfection. She simply needs patience, kindness, and someone willing to show her that she was always meant to be more than just a dog passing through life unnoticed. Because somewhere along the way, the little dog who is still learning what home means becomes the dog who can't imagine being anywhere else. The suggested adoption fee for Laci is $495. Bullies-N-Beyond ResQ Inc. is a 501(c)3, non-profit corporation that is 100%% volunteer operated.
