River

River is a gorgeous, lively puppy just under a year old having been born in April of 2025. He's likely a combination of

Shepherd/Cattle Dog mix, and at around 50 lbs is a nice medium sized dog. This handsome guy loves dogs oF all sizes and his people, so is a great match for a family especially one with another active dog! But no cats for this boy please!



River was a
stray who spent much of his early life in a shelter with his sibling. He was cared for and socialized while there, but it still wasn't a loving full time home. River is now looking for his forever home that wants a happy medium dog both loving and active! Children are fine, but older kids would be a better
fit than the toddlers as River is still working on some basic manners.



This sweet pup is a smart boy and
very food motivated, so training is easy with this one. While he does walk on leash, a
fenced yard would be ideal for River. He loves to wander and explore the fenced yard at his foster home and will most likely be
in search of sticks to chew up. River love puppy chewing and is a favorite past time, so appropriate toys
and chew bones are important, although stuffies will be destroyed by River in
record time! He is kennel trained and will go right in when asked! He's doing great on potty training but will need consistent reinforcement yet.



River loves to be near his
humans and will brighten your day with his happy antics then be ready for snuggles with his people . He's a great mix of puppy energy who also enjoys some quiet time and cuddles at
the end of the day.
