Pebbles

Pebbles is a female, 4-5 year, 8 pound chi mix. This little girl is a survivor so be sure to read her background story (below)! According to her foster she is 110%% lap dog - lol. She really just wants to be near her human. She is house trained and crate trained. It takes her a minute to settle down in the crate but once she does she will sleep through the night. She listens well and loves to sunbathe. When she's done being outside, she'll walk to the door to be let back in. Basically this little girl is just happy to be with you and loves to be loved. She does get along with other dogs, but doesn't like to share the attention of her human so we think she would do best as an only dog in a household where people are around most of the day.

Personality: smart, friendly, affectionate, lapdog

Training: housebroken, crate trained

Estimated age: 4-5 years

Weight: 8 pounds (but should gain a few more as she's too skinny right now)

Medical: will be brought up to date on vaccinations and microchipped

Location: Currently located with a foster in Texas, but if adopted, will come to the NJ area on our next monthly transport.

​Background:

Pebbles was hit by a car and was left to die in the streets. One of our rescue partners contacted us for help and we arranged and paid for her to be taken to a vet for emergency treatment. For several days, little Pebbles was unable to stand, but we are happy so say, she has made a full recovery! Nowadays she can be found walking, running, or trying to climb into her fosters lap for snuggles.

Note: you may remember seeing Pebbles posted on our Facebook page as Tiny. We initially named her Tiny, but her foster thought that the name Pebbles fits her better.
