Rooster

Rooster is a male, 3.5 month, 21 pound (as of 5/24), mixed breed (possibly shepherd) puppy. According to his foster, he (and his brother Half Pint) "are wonderful! Potty trained in the crate. Bark when they need to go outside to poop, but hold it until I can get to them. Very playful, inquisitive, very smart. Love attention and petting, including belly rubs. They play fight when outside, come most of the time when I clap my hands. They are both wonderful."

Personality: friendly, playful, affectionate, curious, energetic

Good with: people of all ages (including kids), and dogs

Estimated date of birth: Feb 2026

Weight: 21 pounds (as of 5/24)

Training: crate trained, potty trained

Medical: receiving puppy vaccinations, will be microchipped w/lifetime registration

Location: Currently located with a foster in Texas, but if adopted, will come to the NJ area on our next monthly transport.

​Background: Rooster is an owner surrender due to the owner's health problems. He and his 3 siblings are available for adoption.
