Dottie

Dottie is a confident cat who enjoys playtime, being petted, particularly when people approach her gently and focus on her fuzzy rear and head. She has a strong preference for being approached from above and behind, and for scratches behind her ears and under her chin. She actively seeks out her foster for affection.

However, it is crucial to acknowledge that her past experiences as a stray have left this sweet and misunderstood cat with some emotional scars, necessitating a caregiver who is understanding and patient. Building trust with Dottie will require time and some rough wand/ catnip play, to ease her stimulation responses as she is still recovering from her tumultuous past. This girlie possesses an undeniable charm, albeit in an unconventional manner!

Dottie is timid around more assertive felines but feels remarkably at ease with her foster's elderly cat, who is generally aloof, even initiating snuggles.

Dottie's demeanor is quintessentially mellow and loving, making her a sassy, unique and endearing swishy-tailed kitty.

Living the good life in the vibrant San Francisco Bay Area, Dottie is a well-cared-for cat. She's up-to-date on her vaccinations (rabies and fvrcp), microchipped, spayed, dewormed, and tested for FELV/FIV.
