Olive

Olive is a strikingly beautiful black kitty with one unforgettable detail-a delicate dusting of white fur around her face and neck and a spray of white whiskers on just one side of her face, giving her an almost mystical look. This gentle soul has a quiet and shy nature, but her sweetness shines through once she feels safe. Rescued after a difficult first year of life, Olive is learning to trust again, and with a patient and understanding family, she will blossom.

When Olive is held and petted, she relaxes and lets herself enjoy every moment, even raising her back end to meet your hand with the softest purr and sometimes a little display of her belly. She'll happily settle next to you on the couch, her calm presence a comfort. Though she's shy at first and may need time to adjust to new surroundings, she is incredibly gentle, and her foster family sees her forming lovely bonds with her kittens. She'll likely adapt well to a home with other cats, and with a little patience, she'll learn to trust in her new family's love.

Olive is fostered in the greater San Francisco Bay Area through Solano County Friends of Animals. She is up to date on her FVRCP vaccinations, microchipped, spayed, dewormed, and tested for FELV/FIV.
