Meet Pinky
Female
DOB: February 14, 2026
Weight: 10 lbs current (medium)
Breed: Terrier Mix
Spayed (Fixed): Pending (age-appropriate)
Vaccines: Pending (age-appropriate)
Microchipped
Healthy & Adoption-Ready
Personality, Breed Info & Expectations
Pinky is an extroverted, joyful puppy with a bright personality and endless happy energy. She loves attention, enjoys meeting people, and always wants to be part of the fun. Pinky is playful, curious, and confident, making her the kind of puppy who brings excitement and laughter wherever she goes.
As a growing Terrier mix puppy, Pinky will likely mature into an intelligent, active companion with lots of personality and strong bonds with her family. Terrier mixes are often known for being clever, playful, and highly people-oriented dogs who thrive with engagement and companionship.
Pinky would thrive in a home prepared for:
Ongoing puppy training and supervision
Daily exercise, interaction, and enrichment
Structure and consistency
A lifelong commitment to her emotional and physical well-being
Puppies are adorable, but they are also a major responsibility requiring patience, time, supervision, and financial commitment throughout every stage of life.
Training, Adjustment & What to Expect
Many rescue puppies come from uncertain beginnings and may not have had structure, socialization, or training before arriving at rescue. Even very young puppies require significant guidance and supervision to properly learn how to navigate life in a home environment.
Because of this, adopters should be prepared for:
Potty training and accidents
Teething and chewing stages
Crate training and leash training
Nighttime wakeups and supervision
Ongoing socialization and structure
The rescue environment itself also does not always allow for extensive one-on-one training. While we work hard to provide safety, basic structure, and socialization, adopters should expect to continue training and support after adoption.
Pinky will need:
Positive reinforcement training
Frequent potty breaks and supervision
Patience and consistency
Daily structure and routine
Continued socialization and exposure
Please remember the 3-3-3 Rule:
3 days to decompress
3 weeks to learn your routine
3 months to fully feel at home
With patience, structure, and love, puppies like Pinky grow into wonderful lifelong companions.
Owner Responsibilities & Veterinary Care
Owning a puppy is a lifelong commitment that includes training, exercise, routine veterinary care, financial responsibility, and emotional commitment throughout every stage of life.
Pinky will need:
Ongoing puppy training and guidance
Routine veterinary visits and vaccine boosters
Preventative care including flea, tick, and heartworm prevention
Proper nutrition and growth monitoring
Daily exercise, enrichment, and companionship
A safe, stable, indoor living environment
Puppies require regular veterinary care throughout their first year, including booster vaccines, wellness exams, and spay surgery when age-appropriate.
Pinky is an indoor family dog and is not to be chained or left outside.
