Meet Micah - Your New Best Friend!
Micah is a beautiful, gentle, young Black Lab/Pitbull mix who's ready to find his forever family! We rescued him from the Clayton County Shelter just in time and we couldn't be more grateful to have saved this precious boy.
Micah is about a year and a half old and weighs around 60 lbs. He's the perfect mix of playful and mellow--happy to chase a toy or go for a walk and just as content to curl up next to you while you relax at home. He's friendly, affectionate, and loves being around people. He's a gentle boy who just wants to be close to his people. He's the kind of dog who leans in for affection and melts into your touch.
Micah is wonderful with other dogs and does beautifully with kids, making him a fantastic addition to just about any household. Whether you have a busy or a quieter home, Micah will fit right in. He's potty trained and crate trained. Recently, he was also professionally trained, so you will be adopting a perfect companion, who knows his commands and walks beautifully on the leash.
The fenced yard would make him happy, so he could stretch his legs playing. The regular walks and some playtime will keep this sweet guy smiling too. Whether you already have pets or he'll be your one and only, Micah just wants to be loved and he has so much love to give in return.
Micah is neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. He's ready to start his new chapter with a family who will adore him as much as he'll adore them.

Applicants in surrounding states could potentially adopt a BarkVille dog if their application is approved, they live within 2-3 hours of the Greater Atlanta area, and they are able to pick up their dog from the foster home.
