Currently located at our Owensboro, KY location Forever Home Needed! Dozer is currently in foster, but his foster mom will be going out of town in March and is really hoping to have him adopted by the end of this month! Meet Dozer 40-pound Terrier mix | Born May 2025 This solid, good-natured boy is full of personality and ready to find his forever family! Here's what his foster mom has to say: Housebroken (with supervision!)Dozer does great as long as you're paying attention. If he starts wandering around without a mission, that's the cue to head outside. He happily comes back in and sits politely for a treat. Smart boy! Leash WalkingHe walks nicely on a leash for the most part - he just needs occasional reminders to slow down. Home Life• Loose indoors while foster is home• Hangs out well with her Cattle Dog• Gets along fine with both her dog and her cat• Needs to be crated when left alone (he does show signs of separation anxiety- we're still working on that!)• Currently learning that the cat's litterbox is NOT a snack bar KidsHe hasn't been around children yet. He's strong and sturdy, so he would need supervision around small children - but he is very good-natured.Dozer is a happy, solid boy who just needs consistency, structure, and someone committed to continuing his training. He has so much potential and would thrive in a home ready to guide him as he grows.Dozer is a male pitty mix born in May 2025 and is a young, energetic pup who is still learning about the world around him. He walks well on a leash and enjoys getting out for walks, though loud or sudden noises can startle him, so he is continuing to build confidence and learn to trust his surroundings. Dozer is doing a great job with potty training and will signal when he needs to go outside, but he is still working on consistency as he grows. He is full of playful energy and would do well with someone who can give him regular exercise, patience, and positive guidance as he continues learning. Dozer is also getting used to car rides and currently experiences some motion sickness, so he is slowly adjusting to traveling. With time, support, and continued training, Dozer has all the potential to grow into a loyal, fun, and loving companion. Ready to meet Dozer?
