Ace

Just rescued this cute boy from the euthanasia list at MCACC. His name was Cobb, but we changed it to Ace. He is heading to boarding with Karen at Dynamic Dog Training on 1/31. We can't wait to see Ace become the confident Rottie he was meant to be! We will update his profile once we learn more about him. Update 2/8/26 from his trainer: Ace is a gem. This boy was on the E list for fear. Once out of the shelter he transformed reallly quickly. He is so sweet and has a funny sense of humor! He is training so quickly. He knows Come, Place, Sit, Down, Heel, and No. He can hold Place for 30 minutes, we are working on longer. He was found as a stray and i soon learned he is a door dodger so we are working hard on door safety and recall so he never runs away again. He is very loving and seeks affection. He is a little bit prone to separation anxiety so I recommend limiting affection until after about 90 days after adoption so that he doesn't develop a unhealthy relationship with his new owner. He is good in his crate, he had a little whining (sep anx) but that is almost gone. He enjoys training. He has shown no aggression. He was a little shy meeting my husband but after one day he was slowly approaching for pets. He's dog friendly. The person who found him had him for two days prior to surrendering to the shelter: They said he eagerly approached women and children under 10 and hung out with their chijuaua with no issues. Whoever adopts him must commit to continuing his training, commit to a 3 hour training session with me and a mini educator e collar. I will continue my support of his training as long as needed!
