About Tigger
Saving Livy Cat Rescue
RescueSaving Livy Cat Rescue all began with the love of all animals and saving Livy from the hood of our car at 2 1/2 weeks old in the parking lot of a supermarket. She saved us more than we saved her + because of saving Livy, we won't stop till we do our best daily to try and save all the cats. We are driven by the desire to make the world a better place for all cats and kittens. We do it all: trapping feral stray cats on the street for TNR in our own colonies or those of people who are unable to do so themselves, fostering orphaned kittens in need to vet them for their furever homes and more. Our hearts are in this. We live to rescue. One cat at a time.
Our ultimate Saving Livy Cat Rescue expansion goal is to purchase property that allows us to open a facility with shelter capability. Our prospective facility would need a plethora of veterinary care/medical equipment for intake of felines in need (i.e., surrendered or stray cats, orphaned kittens, mama with neonatal kittens, recouperating feral cats from sterilization surgery, etc.) in the Deltona area within the next year. Having an additional rescue space would reduce the feline population, increase our ability to help the people who contact us and decrease the amount of times we have to say no.
