Big Boy - Silver Heart

5/4/2026Big Boy is an owner surrender looking for a new home.Hi! My name is Big Boy! I am a handsome 10 year old fawn boy that is an owner surrender due to not adjusting to my current apartment living and needing to find a forever home. I am a proud member of the rescue's Silver Heart program so be sure and ask about it because there are alot of perks for my adoptive family! I am described as friendly, calm, affectionate, and quiet! I currently live with another dog and get along well with her! We play together and I do not get aggravated or annoyed with her. I have never lived with a cat so it is unsure if I am feline friendly. There is a 6 year old human in my current home and I am said to be kid friendly! I am not house trained or crate trained and will need assistance with that in my forever home, possibly benefiting from a doggy door. At night I sleep on the floor next to the humans bed and if the humans must be away, I will cry or will have accidents if left alone. When outside I have good behavior and do not dig or attempt to jump fences/gates! I am fearful of thunder and will become very anxious and pace when I hear it. If I am left alone with trash or food on the counter, I will dig in the trash for treasures or help myself to the food. Some of my favorite things are riding in the car and relaxing! My current owner says I am a "very very sweet dog" that spent all of my previous life outdoors.
