PLEASE READ ALL OF THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION BELOW. IT WILL ANSWER ALL YOUR QUESTIONS. If you still have questions after, we are happy to respond through email.
It is a long read and a long adoption process. Please understand we are ensuring that our babies go to great homes, and we don't know you personally (yet). Understand that this is an adoption of a beautiful little soul that deserves the absolute best life.
The average lifespan of a cat is 13 to 20 years. Some cats even live into their thirties, although this is far less common. So don't let that discourage you from adopting an adult cat! Rescue mama has had 3 live into their 20's. One was 8 weeks old.
LUCY MILLS and her siblings (CYRUS - PRINCE PHILLIP) were rescued from a HORRIBLE hoarding case in Riverside, California. We know they are all related because the horrible human woman, kept letting them mate. When the Rescue Mama found out she took action. We know for sure they are siblings.
As of MARCH 2026, 98 cats have either gone to other rescues or have been saved by us. You will know who these cats are by their names. They have all been named after the show "Once Upon A Time". Aside from the necklaces the kitties wear in their professional pictures,
Meet LUCY MILLS, a delightful black Bombay kitten from Riverside, California whose essence is a velvet-soft bundle of affection wrapped in shiny midnight fur. LUCY MILLS is the kind of purr box who can transform the quietest corner into a symphony of contented rumbling, and she does it with a style that is uniquely her own. Her sparkling eyes reflect curiosity and intelligence, and she approaches every interaction with a mix of playful energy and gentle adoration.
LUCY MILLS has a story of resilience woven into her little frame. She came from a challenging hoarding situation, yet she greets the world with trust, warmth, and a zest for life. She loves to be carried, pampered, and showered with attention, transforming cuddle time into a heart-melting experience. Her playful side emerges in bursts of joyous pounces, batting at toys, and exploring every nook with fearless enthusiasm. Despite her lively spirit, she also has a serene, snuggle-loving nature that makes her perfect for quiet evenings on the couch or gentle companionship during a busy day.
This charming Bombay is wonderfully sociable with other cats, showing a graceful balance of playfulness and respect, making her suitable for homes with feline friends. Her affectionate personality, combined with her playful antics, ensures that every day with LUCY MILLS is filled with laughter, warmth, and delightful surprises. Her caregivers note that she thrives on positive interaction, loves gentle petting, and finds immense joy in human company.
LUCY MILLS is seeking a new loving home where she can continue to blossom, share her affection, and enjoy endless play and cuddle sessions. She is eager to meet someone who can celebrate her curious spirit and offer the love she naturally returns tenfold. Her soft purrs and joyful presence promise to fill a home with happiness and companionship.
