It is a long read and a long adoption process. Please understand we are ensuring that our babies go to great homes, and we don't know you personally (yet). Understand that this is an adoption of a beautiful little soul that deserves the absolute best life.

The average lifespan of a cat is 13 to 20 years. Some cats even live into their thirties, although this is far less common. So don't let that discourage you from adopting an adult cat! Rescue mama has had 3 live into their 20's. One was 8 weeks old.

DETECTIVE ELLIOT STABLER was living in a neighborhood in Colton, California. The nice man is taking care of a colony of feral cats that live in his area and yard. We helped him get 6 cats fixed. When we picked them up, we noticed that DETECTIVE ELLIOT STABLER was not feral. He was just very timid and scared. And he is so handsome. Sweet too!

Despite being a little on the shy side, this affectionate boy has a heart of gold and is just starting to show his true colors.

DETECTIVE ELLIOT STABLER may be timid at first, but once he feels safe and secure, he's a loving companion who will allow you to pet him. Though he's still learning to trust, he is slowly gaining confidence and opening up to the joys of being loved and cared for. His submissive nature means he's not likely to demand attention, but if you're patient with him, he'll show his appreciation in the sweetest ways, whether with a soft purr or a little head nudge to say "thank you" for your kindness.

As a big boy, DETECTIVE ELLIOT STABLER may seem a bit intimidating at first glance, but don't let his size fool you-he's a big softie at heart. He needs a calm and understanding environment where he can continue to blossom into the affectionate cat he's meant to be. DETECTIVE ELLIOT STABLER is DOMESTIC SHORT HAIR / TABBY MIX . He is about 2 years and 10 months old and is good with cats. He has never been around young children and seems non-reactive to dogs.

ADOPTION PROCESS:

2. Fill Out Online Form
3. Submit Online Application
4. Someone Will Call / Text to Do Phone Interview
5. Will be notified of Approved Application
6. Home Visit (WILL BE SCHEDULED)
7. Official Meet and Greet with Kitty
8. Sign Adoption Contract
9. Pay Adoption Fee (VENMO - ZELLE - PAYPAL or CASH)
10. Take the Kitty Home

The cats/kittens at a foster/rescue home, we will accommodate as much as possible. But steps 1-6 of the ADOPTION PROCESS need to be done before we do the OFFICIAL MEET & GREETS. It is easier to do the meet and greets at the locations listed below:

The crazy rescue mama will drive kitties to their new home, meet & greets, etc...once the phone interview and home check have been done. Gas donations always appreciated!

If the CAT/KITTEN is still listed (meaning here or other websites) they are still available. It does not mean they don't have other pending applications or meet and greets.

Please note: Just because you fill out an application and are approved does not obligate you to adopt the cat/kitten. If he or she is not a fit...we have plenty of other cats / kittens available for adoption.

We are a SMALL rescue based out of Hemet, California. We are all volunteers that run the rescue. If we haven't reached out....be patient.

The adoption fee of $200 covers:

Neuter
FVRCP shots
RABIES shot
FELV/FIV test (Negative/Negative)
Drontal Dewormer
Stronghold Flea Control
Microchip

We are NOT a government FUNDED shelter and all our donations and adoption fees are for our rescued cats/kittens. So, we do not do DISCOUNTS.
