It is a long read and a long adoption process. Please understand we are ensuring that our babies go to great homes and we don't know you personally (yet). Understand that this is an adoption of a beautiful little soul that deserves the absolute best life.
The average lifespan of a cat is 13 to 20 years. Some cats even live into their thirties, although this is far less common. So don't let that discourage you from adopting an adult cat! Rescue Mama has had 3 live into their 20's. One was 8 weeks old.
OFFICER DOMINIQUE LUCA was found in a lady's back yard in San Jacinto, California. Her dogs kept chasing them out. She ended up catching him and his siblings (CAPTAIN JESSICA CORTEZ, OFFICER CHRIS ALONSO, OFFICER JIM STREET and SERGEANT DANIEL "HONDO" HARRELSON.
When we arrived at the TNR clinic, we realized that these tiny guys would not survive on the street. So we had to find fosters for them to get them socialized. Our rescue actually caught more cats in that neighborhood that were extremely friendly. And you will find them all with names from the show S.W.A.T.

With his soft orange coat marked by those classic swirling tabby patterns, OFFICER DOMINIQUE LUCA carries himself with a quiet grace-and just a hint of undercover mischief. While he may not rush into the spotlight, give him a gentle hello and a safe, peaceful corner, and you'll find a sweet friend who watches the world with curious orange eyes. He's not the bold type, but he is full of playful surprises once he feels safe.
OFFICER DOMINIQUE LUCA's heart lights up at the sight of wand toys. The swish and flutter of a feather on a string is pure magic to him. And if you've got a tube of Churu? Oh, you've just made a lifelong friend. His love for toys knows no bounds-he'll quietly entertain himself with anything from a crinkly ball to a soft plush mouse. He does very well with other cats who are kind and respectful-no bullies, please! OFFICER DOMINIQUE LUCA enjoys having feline company nearby, especially those who share his mellow energy. As for humans, he appreciates gentle, calm souls who won't startle him. He's not one to leap into laps right away, but he warms up at his own pace and may one day surprise you with a soft headbutt or a purr you didn't know he had.

3. Submit Online Application
4. Someone Will Call / Text to Do Phone Interview
5. Will be notified of Approved Application
6. Home Visit (WILL BE SCHEDULED)
7. Official Meet and Greet with Kitty
8. Sign Adoption Contract
9. Pay Adoption Fee (VENMO - ZELLE - PAYPAL or CASH)
10. Take the Kitty Home

The cats/kittens at a foster/rescue home, we will accommodate as much as possible. But steps 1-6 of the ADOPTION PROCESS need to be done before we do the OFFICIAL MEET and GREETS. It is easier to do the meet and greets at the locations listed below:

The crazy rescue mama will drive kitties to their new home, meet and greets, etc...once the phone interview and home check have been done. Gas donations always appreciated!

If the CAT/KITTEN is still listed (meaning here or other websites) they are still available. It does not mean they don't have other pending applications or meet and greets.
Please note: Just because you fill out an application and are approved does not obligate you to adopt the cat/kitten. If he or she is not a fit...we have plenty of other cats / kittens available for adoption.

We are NOT a government FUNDED shelter and all our donations and adoption fees are for our rescued cats/kittens. So, we do not do DISCOUNTS.
