Meet BruceBruce is a stunning young Belgian Malinois with a beautiful sable coat and an incredible work ethic. At around 9 months old and 50 pounds, he is a high-drive dog who thrives when he has a job to do and a person to bond with.Bruce absolutely loves to train and would do best in a home with someone who enjoys working with dogs and can keep up a consistent, daily training routine. With the right structure and activity, Bruce will reward his person with unmatched loyalty and companionship. Once he forms a bond with you, he becomes an incredibly dedicated partner.Because of his strong drive, Bruce has been trained to remain neutral around other dogs and regularly trains with dogs nearby. He has not shown any aggression toward other dogs or people, and he enjoys being around his humans.Bruce is still a young Malinois and can be a bit of a "gator," meaning he sometimes shows playful mouthing tendencies, which is common for working-breed puppies his age. Continued training and structured outlets for his energy will help him mature into an outstanding companion. He currently eats about 6 cups of high-calorie food per day to keep up with the amount of energy he burns. Bruce has not shown interest in jumping fences or bolting, and he prefers staying close to his people.Bruce already knows all of his basic obedience commands and is moving into more advanced training, making him an excellent candidate for continued sport, obedience work, or an active lifestyle with a dedicated handler. He would likely do best in a home with children ages 10 and up who understand how to interact with an energetic working dog.Bite training or protection training is not permitted with MAD dogs. All MAD dogs come with a Fi Collar and 6 month subscription.
