Meet Gator! Gator is an estimated 10-month-old survivor with a heart full of love. He was rescued after bravely navigating the rough streets of a Michigan city, thin and scared but determined to keep going. Since being placed in foster care, he's been absolutely thriving - soaking up safety, affection, and all the treats he can get.Gator is dog-friendly and adores his foster fur sibling. He's very food-motivated and already picking up commands quickly. He's learning how to walk on a leash and making great progress every day. He's people-friendly and gentle, though understandably a little shy when encountering new places or situations - never reactive, just cautious and curious. One heartbreaking reminder of his past: someone cruelly tattooed a heart on the inside of his leg, but despite the harm he endured, Gator has nothing but love to give. His heart is bigger than ever, and his second chance is already well underway.Gator is looking for a family who will continue helping him grow strong and confident. A loving home, a patient hand, and maybe a dog buddy would make his world complete. If you're ready to give this sweet boy the forever he deserves, Gator is ready to love you right back. All MAD dogs come with a Fi Collar and a six month subscription.
