Star is a beautiful 16-month old female Belgian Malinois. Her family has to surrender her as their work schedule has changed and she spends hours by herself, mostly in the backyard, without much to do. The family is super nice and they love her, they are giving her up thinking of her well-being. Let's focus on Star! Star needs an approved foster to be able to transition to the rescue. She is gorgeous! she knows SIT, DOWN, STAY, PAW, COME, HEEL and walks great on the leash. She is VERY toy and treat motivated so she will be super easy to train. Initially she may be a bit weary of strangers, but she warms up pretty quickly and is a pleasure to be with. She has a good off-switch as well and lies down calmly by her owner. She does show a protective instinct, nothing out of the norm with a Malinois. She has not been around other dogs much since she is with this family, she lived with her mom and dad and one sibling till she was 5 months, she came to them at 6 months of age, the month in between wass with a relative of the original family. NO cats or farm animals, she has a very high prey drive. She is great with kids as long as her energy level is managed. All MAD dogs come with a Fi Collar and 6 month subscription.
